Baysgarth House
Located in the heart of historic Barton upon Humber, Baysgarth House was the ancestral home of the prominent Nelthorpe family. Set in 30 acres of parkland this Grade II listed building is a beautiful example of Georgian architecture and the perfect setting for a family day out. The area around the House is home to various events throughout the year including the Performance in the Park outdoor theatre season, the Barton Lions’ Beer Festival and the Barton Carnival.
Baysgarth House is now under the management of The Ropewalk and is currently closed to the public while it is undergoing renovation. The first phase, the café and ice-cream kiosk will be open this summer with the House re-opening at a later date. Keep an eye out on Facebook for updates on the work.
