Quality North Lincolnshire is a scheme which can offer an assurance to your visitors that they have chosen an accommodation which is legal, safe and clean.
Quality accommodation is a critical element of the visitor experience for both leisure and business visitors, and this scheme, which has been accredited by VisitEngland, underlines our commitment to championing the accommodation we have to offer in our area.

The purpose of the assessment visit is to ensure that your property is legal, safe and clean and therefore the assessment will not award your property a star rating, but an assurance that minimum standards are met.
Although the focus of the assessment is on meeting minimum quality standards, our professional assessors, trained by VisitEngland, are available to work with you in order to maximise the potential of your business, this may be through further assistance on improving quality or helping you improve your operation in other areas.
If you are just starting out and this is your first experience of an assessment scheme, it may be that in future you will be looking at being accredited by a star rated scheme. If this is the case, our assessors will also be able to assist and advise you.

How much does Quality North Lincolnshire cost?
The cost of an annual assessment is £49 +VAT.
In the case of multiple self-catering units, please contact us to discuss a multiple assessment price.
We accept a limited number of boarder line accommodation providers, please note an out of area fee will be charged.
What is involved?
Below you can download an application form and details of the areas which will be covered in the assessment. Once you have signed up to a Quality North Lincolnshire assessment, our assessors will be on hand to offer assistance to help you prepare.
Once you feel you are ready for an assessment, one of our assessors will arrange a mutually convenient time and discuss the number of bedrooms which will need to be viewed as part of the visit.
On arrival at the property we ask that either the Proprietor or Manager be available for a brief discussion and provide the assessor with a tour of the property and details of the bedrooms available for assessment.
At the end of the assessment the assessor will give you feedback. Should you have met all the assessment criteria, the assessor will confirm that your property has been accepted as a Quality North Lincolnshire Approved Accommodation.
If however there are any areas of concern, the assessor will discuss these with you and offer advice. It is our aim to be able to assist you in meeting the criteria wherever possible. If we feel the targets are achievable within a set timescale, we would discuss this and the possibility of a re-evaluation at an agreed date.

Once this has been received and payment made, we will contact you to offer pre visit advice, email our pre visit forms and discuss possible dates for the assessment.
