North Lincolnshire Half Marathon – annual race – Quibell Park Scunthorpe

A fabulous half marathon organised by runners for runners this flat, fast and friendly half marathon.

Tape2Tape are delighted to bring the North Lincolnshire Half Marathon back to the running calendar on Sunday 5th March 2023. This race has proved to be extremely popular over the years with many runners achieving a ‘personal’ or ‘age group’  best performance. This flat, fast and friendly race has a fantastic finish at Quibell Park Athletic Stadium with a lap on the running track that is always surrounded by lots of spectators to cheer you in. It is ideally timed for anyone undertaking a Spring Marathon or who wants a good fast early season time.

NEW 10k option for 2023 – The event will also feature a similarly flat, fast and friendly 10k race, using the same course as the previously held Valentines 10k.

The friendly nature of the event and the flat routes make both distances suitable for anyone looking to run the distance for the first time.

About us…….

Tape2Tape was formed by us in 2011, with our first organised race being the North Lincolnshire Half Marathon. After 6 years of organising races on top of busy day jobs, both of us now work full time on race organisation.

We don’t just see our events as races, we work hard with many local organisations to bring a real community feel to the events, ensuring inclusivity for all. We are very keen to work with local charities and community groups with all our races. Over the years we have directly and indirectly ensured that thousands of pounds has been secured for many worthy causes.

We have gained many loyal volunteers since we started, some of whom we now consider as great friends, we are very grateful to each and every volunteer who joins our Race Crew.
