Start - Westwoodside Playing Field car park, DN9 2EZ

  From the car park turn right continue along track.

  Turn right continue along track.

  Turn left with wire fence on the right continue ahead, over wooden bridge.

  Turn right here continue ahead.

  On reaching wide main track turn left and continue ahead, where track bends right continue straight ahead (sign post hidden by foliage).

  Turn right where track ends before the railway line, continue ahead.

  Turn left crossing wooden bridge, climb stile to cross railway line. Down steps across another wooden bridge and stile.

  Continue straight ahead, at building turn left.

  Then right, continue ahead on stone track, country road.

  At Tindale Bank Road turn left, continue ahead.

  After semi detached houses turn left at footpath sign (before Langholme Manor Farm).

  Continue ahead to Highway Boundary Bollard, turn left through tree lined track (dismantled railway line).

  Exit tree area through metal gate, turn right (dyke on right) continue ahead to railway line, carefully cross line and go over bridge.

  At footpath sign turn right, continue ahead.

  Turn left and continue to main road.

  Turn left into Westwoodside, continue ahead.

  Turn Left at Westwoodside Playing Field sign and return to car park.
