Start - West Butterwick Village Hall, DN17 3JZ

  Leave Village Hall go down Ulyet Lane.

  Turn left along West Street, cross road.

  At end of road turn right onto South Street, continue ahead, cross road & go onto river bank up steps turn right & continue along bank, at poplar trees come off the bank onto road, continue ahead to public footpath sign on right.

  Turn right go ahead on stoney track, turn right before gate (ditch on right).

  Continue along this track to house, cross West Street go ahead side of house No 92, down steps continue ahead towards motorway.

  On reaching main road cross road & go up onto bank, turn right & continue along bank top.

  Turn right at steps down bank slope.

  Turn left along pavement continue ahead, cross road to other side.

  At Public Footpath sign turn right, follow footpath passing bungalows continue on path back to Village Hall.
