Epworth from Belton Picnic Area

Start - Belton Picnic area, DN9 1NY

   Leave the car park, heading south along a wide grit path go up a hill till you see Epworth ahead.

   Follow footpath signs into Epworth, passing a timber factory (C.W.Fields) on the right and continue to the road (Station Road).

   At Station Road turn left (cross road to walk on pavement then cross back again before junction with Battle Green) continue ahead.

   Turn left into Tottermire Lane (passing the firestation) continue to main road (Belton Road, A161).

   Carefully cross this road and go into garden centre car park continue on wide track up the slope past St Andrews Church, continue ahead to road.

   When reaching the road turn immediately left onto a wide track.

   Bear left, (at a corner a windmill can be seen ahead) continue ahead until arrive at main road (Belton Road, A161), carefully cross road.

   Turn right along pavement, continue ahead for short distance.

   Take second path on left after the Windmill which will bend gradually to the right, continue ahead to join track which will return you to the car park.
