English Tourism Week takes place from 13–22 March, celebrating Local Stories, National Growth. Throughout the campaign, Visit North Lincolnshire will be showcasing the area's attractions, places to stay and eat, local heritage and great places to enjoy throughout the area. It's a chance to highlight the quality and value of our local tourism offer and the vital role it plays in supporting jobs and communities across North Lincolnshire.
This year also marks a very special milestone for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Viking Way – one of England's most iconic long-distance walking routes. Stretching for 147 miles across Lincolnshire, the Viking Way officially begins right here in Barton-upon-Humber, putting North Lincolnshire firmly on the map for walking, adventure and exploration. Whether you tackle a short section or simply enjoy the history and landscapes along the route, it's a fantastic reminder of the remarkable experiences waiting just beyond your front door, keep an eye out on our social media pages to discover more.
You can also meet the Visit North Lincolnshire team at the Lincolnshire Show this year, where we'll have a spot within the Greater Lincolnshire stand.
