The newly opened Black Bull has an amazing new look and serves a fantastic new draught range including local cask ales and craft beers! Black Bull’s team have enjoyed pulling together a eclectic range of wines and spirits including an extensive gin selection and the team have been doing lots of training to make sure your coffee and teas are served perfectly.

On the food front you can find some wonderful juicy burgers alongside pub classics such as fish and chips, salads, steaks and of course Sunday roasts – they all go brilliantly with a beer! Not that hungry? choose from a delicious snacks and sharing range.

The Victorian Walled Garden is a treat for any garden lover. Originally built in 1817 and restored in 1997, the garden is a nostalgic journey to the heyday of Victorian gardening. The kitchen garden contains a wealth of 19th century fruit and vegetable varieties, many of which are available to buy at harvesting time. Colourful herbaceous borders in the Sunken Garden and naturalised springtime bulbs and rhododendrons in the parkland complete the seasonal interest.
