For a free family day out packed with wildlife and nature don’t miss Waters’ Edge Country Park and Visitor Centre. Explore 110 acres of country park and nature reserve, discover how green you are with our interactive displays or just chill out by the ponds and feed the ducks. Little ones will love our reading corner and giant games and can burn off energy in our outdoor areas.

In the Visitor Centre you will find the gift shop which stocks a variety of locally crafted gifts including jewellery, toys and games, handbags, scarves, books, stationery and wildlife surveillance equipment.

Enjoy quality coffee and food, whilst taking in the spectacular views over the Humber Estuary at Honey Pot Café located within the centre, with outside decked seating area in the summer. The Honey Pot Café is a privately owned and managed café within the Visitor Centre.

Please note – only guide dogs are allowed in the centre.

Situated just off the A180, in a fantastic woodland setting, the Paintball site is ideally located for players travelling from Scunthorpe, Hull or Grimsby. Paintball is the perfect activity for all events, and our marshals are fully trained to tailor your session to you. Whether you are planning a birthday party of a Stag / Hen do, or just fancy coming with a few friends or work colleagues, we can make sure you have a day to remember.

There is over 100 different types of paintball games out there, and the game zones at Paintball Scunthorpe have been designed to provide you with a superb setting to get immersed in the experience. Use the man-made and natural barricades to your advantage and sneak up on the enemy team. Each player goes through a full safety briefing and short training session at the start of the day, so if you are a newcomer, by the end of this, you will know how everything works. And if you do encounter any issues, the marshals are on hand at all times to help out.

Established nearly 50 years ago, based in Kirton in Lindsey, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, we are proud to call ourselves a traditional British garden centre and house one of the largest selections of home-grown plants in the area. Dogs are welcome! Free ample parking.

Arial Trail

Arialtrail is a high rope adventure course consisting of 18 elements with 5 zip wires, and 2x100m zips to finish. The course is situated in the woodland area of Holme Lane Bottesford.
