Families with under 5s will be invited to a Teddy Bear’s Picnic in Dudley’s Den. Children can bring along their favourite bear, listen to stories from our Bear Book Nook library, meet the Museum’s mascot Dudley Bear and enjoy a healthy snack.
We will offer familiar tales written in a range of languages, including Polish, Romanian, Panjabi and Urdu. Storytelling props will support understanding for those who don’t speak English as their first language, and the Nesting Emotion Bear will provide a tool for young people who may struggle to communicate their feelings.
This is a free event with no need to book a place - just turn up!
