Live Well Isle of Axholme, formerly Epworth Leisure Centre, is a revitalised facility located on Burnham Road in Epworth. It brings together a wide range of services including fitness, education, and community support under one roof. The centre is designed to promote health, wellbeing, and social connection across the Isle of Axholme.

The facility includes a gym, sports hall, squash courts, skate park, and a 3G football pitch. A new fitness studio hosts group classes and immersive Les Mills Virtual workouts. Epworth Library is also housed within the hub, offering books, public computers, printing services, and a dedicated children’s area funded by the Severn Trent Community Fund.

Live Well Isle of Axholme hosts a variety of programmes such as Cook4Life, smoking cessation support, Why Weight?, and domestic abuse drop-in services. Community groups regularly use the space for meetings, play sessions, and educational workshops. The centre is accessible and dementia-friendly, with extended opening hours to suit all lifestyles.

Managed by North Lincolnshire Council, the hub is a key part of the region’s investment in rural wellbeing. It reduces the need for travel by offering essential services locally, and fosters a strong sense of community through inclusive programming and modern facilities.
