Baysgarth Stables Café

The newly refurbished Baysgarth Stables Café, located adjacent to the picturesque Baysgarth Park, is designed to provide a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, making it the perfect destination for enjoying freshly made food.

At the Baysgarth Stables Café, we take pride in our commitment to quality and sustainability. Our menu features a diverse selection of dishes crafted from fresh local produce, ensuring that every meal is not only delicious but also supports local producers.

Located at the rear of the Café is the Elswick-Hopper Cycle Display. Elswick-Hopper was a cycle manufacturing company based in Barton-upon-Humber from the late 19th century to the latter part of the 20th century. Its founder, Fred Hopper, was born in Barton in 1859. He made his first bicycle in 1890 and was soon manufacturing both bicycles and motorcycles.
