The start of Stage 3 will begin at Normanby Hall Country Park and finish in Scunthorpe outside Central Park. Our stage is very spectator friendly with the whole race staying within the North Lincs boundary, so be prepared to get your flags and banners out on multiple occasions. On race day there will be plenty to do for all ages with entertainment, a range of stalls and fun activities. For further information on the route take a look at our own North Lincs Tour of Britain website with details on the proposed route, showing places of interest you can cycle past and North Lincolnshire’s cycle routes for those shortcuts on the race day – www.nltour.co.uk.
North Lincs ToB website also provides details on sponsorship packages for local businesses large or small to get involved in this fantastic opportunity, whether it be a main sponsor or In Kind sponsorship. Keep an eye out on a community pack coming soon, demonstrating on how local communities can partake in this exciting event. From spray painting bikes in the local stage colours of green and blue to creating artistic bicycle sculptures and fun aerial images that will be filmed and shown on TV.
Not only will Stage 3 be a day to put in our diary but we will also be holding a ‘Cycling Extravaganza’ in August at Normanby Hall and North Lincs Tour of Britain Sportive in the coming months. For all up to date information sign up to our newsletter on our website.
