Visit North Lincolnshire Today!
Once you have tasted the local produce of North Lincolnshire, you'll keep
coming back for more. Our fertile soils, gentle climate and fresh country
air produce one of nature's richest harvests.
A good place to start exploring is our award winning Farmers' Market in Brigg,
held on the 4th Saturday of the month or at Barton Farmers’ Market which
takes place on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Producers come from around the
region, selling speciality foods, free-range meats and organic breads, vegetables
and herbs.
If gardens are your passion, make sure you pay a visit to the Victorian walled
garden at Normanby Hall. The heady perfume is unbeatable on a summer's afternoon
and there's a plant nursery to help you recreate the setting at home.
At Scawby step into the fragrant walled garden, filled with fresh lavender,
fruit and vegetables, and stock up with produce in the garden shop. Marvel
at the exotic hardy palms and ferns at The Palm Farm at Thornton Hall, or
buy olives, citrus trees and every herb imaginable at Stonecrop Herbs, perfect
for creating a Mediterranean garden at home.
Take home some of North Lincolnshire's delicious local produce from farm
shops such as The Pink Pig, The Stables at Melton Ross or True Loaf Bakery.
During the summer, open gardens are held throughout North Lincolnshire, visit
our events pages to find out more.
